BREDA invites RfP bids for 15 MW grid-connected solar power projects in Bihar

Bihar Renewable Energy Development Agency has invited Request for Proposal bids for development of grid-connected rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) power projects of capacity 15 MW at various locations in the state. The total capacity of 15 MW is divided in three groups- government buildings of Patna, health departments and other government buildings in Bihar. The last date for bid submission is February 2, 2019. According to tender documents, a bidder must bid for a minimum cumulative capacity of 1 MW.

The scope of work includes- design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning,  detailed planning for smooth execution of project, performance testing, completion and successful commissioning of the project,  supply of power from commissioning to termination or for 25 operational years, coverage of risk liability of all personnel associated with implementation and realisation of the project, waterproofing of the roof pierced for installation of project for the comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) for three years. It also includes O&M of the project from the first part commissioning or scheduled commercial operation date, whichever is earlier for a period of 25 years. The power producer will also arrange all required instruments, tools, spares, components, manpower and other necessary facilities at their own cost.

The project will be developed under Renewable Energy Service Company model including net metering facility for a period of 25 years.
