Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) is likely to revise the capacity of solar power project to be developed at Jamboree Maidan in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh from 10 MW to 5 MW. The plan to reduce the capacity is being considered as the district administration has refused to provide land for the project.
Currently, BHEL has identified few sites in the BHEL township and a request has been sent to the head office in Delhi seeking permission to allow the installation of a 5 MW solar plant.
