Germany-based wind turbine manufacturer Senvion has won the EPC contract from Alfanar (the project developer) to set up a 300 MW wind project in Bhuj, Gujarat. The scope of work involves the supply and installation of 131 Senvion 2.3M130 turbines. It also includes a comprehensive plan for O&M for a period of 10 years. When connected to the grid, this project will generate enough clean power to meet the power needs of almost 290,000 households.
