NIWE reinvites bids for conducting geotechnical investigation for 1,000 MW offshore wind projects

The National Institute of Wind Energy has reinvited bids for conducting offshore geotechnical investigation in the Gulf of Khambhat, off the coast of Gujarat, for the development of 1,000 MW of offshore wind projects. The scope of the project includes geotechnical investigation work at three boreholes in Zone-B around the existing light detection and ranging (LiDAR) location and two more boreholes at Zone A and Zone B1 respectively. However, the number of boreholes is likely to be increased based on the geophysical investigation. The last date for bid submission is December 28, 2018.
