Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has invited RfS bids for a total of 50 MW of power procurement from biomass projects. The scope of work includes the development and installation of grid-connected biomass plants on a BOO basis. MSEDCL will also sign a PPA for a period of 20 years for the fulfilment of its non-solar renewable purchase obligation target. According to official documents, each project should have a minimum installed capacity of 5 MW. The last date for the submission of bids is January 4, 2019.
