KSEB invites RfS bids for 200 MW solar power project

The Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) has invited Request for Submission bids for development of the 200 MW solar power project in Kerala.

The scope of work includes- financing, selection of site, possession of land, obtaining of mandatory approvals from appropriate authorities, design, engineering, construction, testing, commissioning, construction of transmission lines and interconnection facilities for evacuation of power from the solar project(s) along with operation, maintenance, repair and repowering of the solar plants as well as the maintenance of transmission lines and interconnection facilities for evacuation of power for a period of 25 years. According to tender guidelines, a single bidder must bid for a minimum and maximum capacity of 1 MW and 200 MW respectively. Moreover, KSEB will sign a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the successful bidder for a period of 25 years while the period of completion of work will be 21 months from the date of execution of PPA. The last date for submission of bids is February 1, 2019.
