HEP to invest $153.96 million by 2030

Croatia’s state-run power utility HEP aims to increase the renewable energy capacity to 50 per cent of its total power capacity from the current 35 per cent. This will be achieved by investing $153.96 million each year on average until 2030. The country will upgrade its existing hydropower plants as well as add new ones, apart from investing in other renewable energy sources.
