The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has signed an agreement worth Rs 7,130 million with Green Climate Fund (GCF) to support private sector initiatives for creation of rooftop solar energy across India.
The assistance is a part of a Rs 16,301.25 million project for the development of solar projects of capacity 250 MW, executed by Tata Cleantech Capital Limited, National Implementing Entity for the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change that supports the efforts of developing countries to respond to the challenge of climate change.
