Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL) has invited Request for Proposal (RfP) bids for selection of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor for the development of a 50 MW solar power project in Pavagada, Karnataka. KREDL will be the nodal agency for the project and intends to finance the facilities through its own resources or utilising the incentive grant of 13th finance commission received from the MNRE. The scope of work includes design, engineering, procurement, supply, construction, erection, testing and commissioning of 50 MW (2×10 MW and 2×15 MW) solar PV power plants and associated transmission system along with comprehensive operation and maintenance for a period of ten years. The period of completion of work is six months from the date of execution of contract. The last date for submission of bids is December 20, 2018.
