Sweden, India sign two renewable energy pacts

Sweden and India signed two MoUs in the renewable energy space to enhance technology and bring in power efficiency. According to the Embassy of Sweden, the first MoU was signed between Swedish firm Spowdi and Indian solar module manufacturer EMMVEE Photovoltaic Power for setting up a manufacturing and assembly unit in Bengaluru. The second MoU was inked between Swedish firm Neutral and Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited for a pilot project for ground fault protection in Delhi. The MoUs were signed on the sidelines of inauguration of the “Sustainability by Sweden – Showroom India” by Swedish Energy Agency, Business Sweden and the Embassy of Sweden under the Sweden India Nobel Memorial Programme.
