8minutenergy raises $200 million to develop solar projects in the US

American solar developer 8minutenergy Renewables LLC has raised more than $200 million for its pipeline of utility-scale solar projects through a joint venture with J.P. Morgan Asset Management and Upper Bay Infrastructure Partners. According to sources, 8minutenergy plans to use these funds to develop utility-scale solar projects throughout the US over the next five years. Some of these projects will be set up in California, Texas and the South-eastern region of the country.
