Greater Visakhapatnam Smart City Corporation Limited (GVSCCL) has further extended the Request for Proposal bid due date for development of the 15 MW floating solar project at Meghadri Gedda in. The scope of work includes design, engineering, procurement, supply, packing, forwarding, transportation, unloading, storage at site, site development, construction, erection, installation of equipment, testing and commissioning open access related works along with comprehensive operation and maintenance of the plant for a period of 10 years.
The project will be implemented as part of the smart city mission and will be funded and owned by GVSCCL. The power generated from the project will be used by GVSCCL for captive consumption. The period of completion of work is two years from the date of issue of Letter of Intent.
