The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) extended the bid submission deadline from September 14, 2018 to November 22, 2018 for 750 MW of grid-connected solar projects to be developed across Rajasthan. The projects are to be developed on build own operate (BOO) basis and will be connected to the nearest substation with a voltage level of at least 33 k. The successful bidder will be responsible for the maintenance of the transmission system up to the inter-connection point. The successful bidder will have to achieve financial closure as well as complete the land acquisition formalities within 12 months after signing the power purchase agreement. SECI will sign PPAs for a 25 year period. The scope of work includes acquiring the land, developing the project, connectivity, and long-term open access.
