Bid due date extended for 70 MW Kayamkulam Floating Solar PV Project

NTPC Limited has extended the bid due date for development of the 70 MW Kayamkulam Floating Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Project from November 15, 2018 to November 29, 2018.

The scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading storage, installation, testing ,commissioning based on open category PV modules and cells, site-grading, clearing of vegetation for inverter room and CMCS, providing power supply and water supply for construction purposes, supply of floaters, installation, anchoring, fixing of floaters for SPV panels, pathways corresponding to 90 MWp (minimum) , construction of central monitoring and control station with switchgear room, with all electrical fitting and furniture, security cabin etc. , SCADA system for remote monitoring and control of inverters with all hardware and software along with operation and maintenance (O&M) of the plant for a period of three years from the date of successful completion of trial run.

Solar PV cells and modules for this project can be sourced from anywhere in the world. The project involves development of 70 MW floating solar power plant at Rajiv Gandhi Combined Cycle Power Project, Kayamkulam in the state of Kerala.
