Turkey floats a tender for the development of 1 GW of wind power projects

Turkey has floated a tender for the development of 1 GW of wind power projects in Balikesir, Canakkale, Aydin and Mugla provinces. According to the tender guidelines, a 250 MW wind project will be set up at each of these locations. The government will sign PPAs for a period of 15 years for these capacities. This is in line with the country’s vision to install 20 GW of wind capacity by 2023.
