NTPC invites bids for 190 MW of solar-wind hybrid projects in Karnataka

NTPC Limited has invited bids for the development of 190 MW of solar-wind hybrid power projects in Kudgi, Karnataka. The scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading, storage, installation and commissioning of a minimum grid-connected capacity of 60 MW and 130 MW for wind and solar projects respectively on a turnkey basis. As per the bidding guidelines, to qualify for the bid for the development of wind power projects, a bidder should have manufactured, supplied, installed and commissioned wind turbine generators of 600 kW capacity. For setting up solar projects, a bidder should have designed, supplied, installed and commissioned solar PV-based grid-connected power projects with a combined capacity of 40 MWp or above with at least one project with a minimum capacity of 10 MWp. Moreover, the average annual turnover of the bidder should not be less than Rs 2.35 billion. The bidders are mandated to submit a bid security of Rs 100 million. The last date for the submission of bids is November 21, 2018.
