KREDL re-invites bids for 100 MW solar power projects

Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited reinvited RfP bids for the development of 100 MW of grid-connected solar power projects in Karnataka on October 12, 2018. According to the official document, stand-alone or a combination of utility-scale, rooftop, floating and canal-top solar projects are to be developed in the Mundargi, Gajendragad, Maski, Kuragodu and Gurmatkal talukas. The document has earmarked 20 MW of capacity for each taluka. The scope of work includes the development and O&M of the projects including supply of power at the effective tariff as per the draft PPA. The projects will be developed on a BOO basis under the open category and a single bidder must bid for a minimum and maximum capacity of 20 MW and 100 MW respectively. The bid submission deadline is November 12, 2018.
