Allahabad University installs solar panels at its campus

Allahabad University has installed solar panels on 23 buildings at its four campuses. The solar panels are expected to generate 1.5 MW of electricity per day. The university has also installed net meters to achieve grid integration. The shift to solar energy will help the university save around Rs 4 million per annum. HFM Solar Power Private Limited was responsible for the installation of the solar panels.
