Huawei Smart PV Workshop Was Successfully Held in Thailand

On October 09, Huawei partner Polytech and Huawei jointly held Smart PV Workshop successfully in Huawei Bangkok Office.

Mr. Narratchai Leeraphante, President of Polytech, made an opening speech. Mr. Yutthapol Maksingha, CTO from Bangkok Solar Power, Mr. Thatree Homsirikamol, Project Developer from Soilcrete Tech, and other distinguished guests attended the workshop and shared their experience in designing, building, operating, and maintaining the utility scale, commercial and industrial rooftop PV plants. Based on the real cases, Huawei string inverter combines with tracking system can improve energy yields of PV plant by more than 5%. Many PV practitioners were impressed by the stable operating and low failure rate of Huawei string inverter, also gained a lot from the workshop with their active attention.

Thailand has rich solar irradiation resources, especially in the north-east and central regions. In the Alternative Energy Development Plan: AEDP2015 published by Thailand Department of Renewable Energy Development and Energy Efficiency, the total solar installation capacity is expected to reach 6 GW in 2036, and other news even expected 17 GW. Huawei has brought the industry-leading achievements of FusionSolar Smart PV Solution and minimalist high-efficient O&M experience, which won much attention and appreciation from attendees.

Till now, Huawei has deployed 75GW Smart PV plants globally. Based on reports released by global consultancies IHS Markit and GTM Research, Huawei was ranked No. 1 globally in inverter shipment for three consecutive years, 2015, 2016 and 2017.
