Consultancy bids invited for a 30 MW solar project in Madhya Pradesh

National Handloom Development Corporation (NHDC) Limited has invited bids for appointment of a consultant to prepare a pre-feasibility report for the development of a 30 MW solar power project in Badnawar, Madhya Pradesh.

The scope of work involves pre-feasibility study of proposed solar plant, site survey, solar radiation data collection, site assessment and analysis, studying the load profile at demand side so that project capacity is adequately fixed, pre-feasibility study of connectivity/power evacuation of solar power plant at optimum voltage level to the state transmission utility (STU) grid.

The consultant would also need to frame the project as per state and centre governments policies, regulatory provisions, incentives available, banking facilities, wheeling charges etc. for third party sale as well as captive consumption mode. In addition, development of first stage of bill of material (BoM), cost estimatation based on BoM and project feasibility analysis based on selected mode of power generation would need to be done.

The period of completion of work is 30 days from the date of issue of LoA. The last date for bid submission is October 22, 2018.
