RUMSL invites RfP bids for 1,500 MW capapcity in Madhya Pradesh

Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited (RUMSL) has invited RfP bids for the development of a 1,500 MW solar park in Madhya Pradesh. The bids have been invited for Agar (550 MW), Shajapur (500 MW) and Neemuch (450 MW) districts.

According to the tender guidelines, a single bidder cannot develop the entire capacity. In addition, the payment security mechanism for these projects will be similar to the four-tier security guarantee that was provided in the REWA solar tender.

RUMSL is a JV of Solar Energy Corporation India (SECI) and Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUNL). The JV has been designated as a solar power park developer by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) under its Solar Park Scheme.

RUMSL is currently developing three solar parks with aggregate capacity of 1,500 MW located in Agar, Shajapur and Neemuch districts in the state for which the tender has been announced. The last date for submission of bids is December 10, 2018.
