SIPB approves plan for setting up solar and biomass power plant in Bihar

The State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) has approved a plan for setting up a solar power plant in Banka district and a biomass power plant in West Champaran in the state of Bihar at estimated costs of Rs 15 billion and Rs 1.48 billion respectively. The proposals have to be cleared by various departments within 30 days as per the Bihar Industrial Investment Promotion Policy otherwise the projects will be deemed to be approved.
