ACME Solar commissions 200 MW solar plant in Bhadla solar park

ACME Solar Holdings, has commissioned a 200 MW solar power plant at the Bhadla solar park, in Rajasthan. The project has been designed with a capacity utilization factor (CUF) of 30 per cent and is spread across 1,000 acres. ACME has made provisions for water-less cleaning of modules due to the climate conditions and low water availability in the region to maintain the generation output.

Reportedly, the company has invested about Rs 9.8 billion in setting up the solar power project, which had been won at a historic low tariff of Rs 2.44 per kWh in the 500 MW Bhadla phase-III solar park auction.

With the commissioning of this project, ACME’s total operational solar capacity now stands at 2.4 GWp and the company’s total project portfolio stands at over 5.5 GWp.
