ONGC commissions 10 MW solar power project in Gujarat

The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has commissioned a 10 MW solar project, which will provide power to its plants located at Dahej, Gandhar and Hazira in Gujarat. The project comprises 44,144 modules and is divided into eight blocks of 1.25 MW each spread over 56 acres. Vikram Solar provided EPC services for this project, and will now provide O&M services for a period of three years from the date of commissioning. This project has been developed for captive power usage and will help ONGC meet its renewable power obligations (RPOs) in Gujarat.
