NTPC issues solar module package tender for Anta Solar project

NTPC Limited has invited bids for the supply of solar modules for the development of Anta solar project located in Rajasthan’s Baran district.

Moving away from conventional EPC project tendering, wherein the EPC developer is responsible for purchasing modules, NTPC Limited has issued separate tenders for procuring modules (module package bid) and EPC services. The scope of work of the module package tender includes manufacturing, supply, packing, transporting, unloading, storing and installation of solar PV modules.

Solar PV cells and modules for this package can be sourced from anywhere in the world. These can be crystalline solar modules with a minimum nominal rating of 300 Wp and thin film solar modules with a minimum nominal rating of 112.5 Wp.

For this tender, the bid security amount is Rs 50 million and bidders must have manufactured and supplied solar PV modules of cumulative 50 MWp capacity. The average annual turnover of the interested bidders should not be less than Rs 2,370 million over the last three financial years.

The last date for the submission of techno-commercial bids is October 4, 2018 and the date for reverse auction will be decided later by NTPC.
