The New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited (NREDCAP) has released the results for its 15 MW solar rooftop tender that was rolled out in June 2018. The state agency had set an upper tariff ceiling of Rs 5 per kWh for this tender.
NREDCAP received seven bids out of which four had qualified. CleanMax Enviro Energy Solutions Private Limited has emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder by quoting a tariff of Rs 3.64 per kWh for setting up 3 MW of capacity. The winners are:

NREDCAP has asked the other bidders to match the L1 price and send their acceptance before August 1, 2018. The grid-connected rooftop solar projects will be developed under RESCO model. The successful bidder will have nine months from the date of award of contract to commission the project. In addition, the successful bidders will be responsible for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the projects for 25 years after commissioning. NREDCAP has specified that all modules utilized for these projects must be made in India.
