Indraprastha Power Generation Company Limited has invited RfS bids for implementing 30 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar PV power projects on government buildings in Delhi. The projects will be executed under the capex and renewable energy service company (RESCO) models. As per the tender document, 27 MW and 3 MW of capacity will be developed under the RESCO and capex models respectively. The scope of work involves checking the feasibility of installation in identified buildings/leasing rooftop of buildings for 25 years, obtaining no-objection certificates from the discom for grid connectivity, and executing PPAs. Further, it would involve design, engineering, manufacture, supply, storage, civil work, erection, testing and commissioning of the grid-connected rooftop solar PV project, including O&M for a period of five years for capex-based projects and 25 years for RESCO-based projects after commissioning. IPGCL has been designated as the central agency for tendering and executing solar PV projects in Delhi on behalf of the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Management Centre under the Department of Power, Delhi government.
