ACME wins bid to develop 75 MW of solar capacity in Uttar Pradesh

ACME Solar Holdings Private Limited has won bids for the development of a 75 MW solar power project at the Parasan Solar Park in Uttar Pradesh. The bids have been won at a tariff of Rs 3.32 per kWh. Bids for the same were invited by SECI under the National Solar Mission Phase II Batch IV for a cumulative capacity of 275 MW to be executed at multiple solar parks in Uttar Pradesh. For the 75 MW capacity, bids were submitted by two companies including Ayana Renewables at a tariff of Rs 3.34 per kWh. ACME will sign a 25-year PPA with SECI, which will further sell power to Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited. ACME will have 12 months from the effective date of the PPA to commission the project.
