OREDA invites RfS bids for 6 MW of solar PV capacity in Odisha

Odisha Renewable Energy Development Agency (OREDA) has invited request for selection (RfS) bids for developing 6 MW of grid connected solar PV power project at the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) premises in Sunabeda, Odisha. The project will be located over a land area of approximately 30 acres within HAL’s estate.

The project will be established on a build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) basis. HAL will enter into a PPA for purchase of solar power from the successful bidder for a period of 25 years. The scope of work involves designing, erecting, testing, synchronizing, and commissioning of the project. The successful bidder will also have to provide O&M services for a period of 25 years. In addition, the developer will be required to build a boundary with a 3 feet high wall and an 8 feet high fence all around the project with a suitable gate for access.

Moreover, the developer would need to submit a certificate stating that the technology proposed to be used for the project is a commercially established technology, and at least one project based on the technology has been successfully operational for a period of five year anywhere in the world. The last date for bid submission is July 2, 2018.
