SECI has extended the RfS bid due date for selection of solar power developer for implementation of 150 MW Rihand Dam Floating Solar Power Projects from May 31, 2018 to June 21, 2018. Bids for the same had been re-invited in April 2018. The solar projects will be developed on the Rihand Dam, also known as Govind Ballabh Pant Sagar Reservoir, located in Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh.
The scope of work includes the design, engineering, procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the floating solar power project. A power PPA will be signed by the successful developers with Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited.
