The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) invited bids for implementation of 5 MW (AC) solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant in Tamil Nadu on April 27, 2018. The last date for bid submission is June 11, 2018. The scope of work involves design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing and commissioning of the project including operation and maintenance (O&M) for 10 years.
V.O Chidambaranar Port Trust (VOCPT) has proposed development of the project at V.O. Chidambaranar Port in Thoothukudi (Tuticorin) in Tamil Nadu. The tendering activities of the project have been entrusted to SECI.
