Bids invited in four packages for solar PV power projects under DDUGJY Scheme in West Bengal

West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) invited bids in four packages for implementation of solar photovoltaic (PV) power generation projects in seven districts of West Bengal under Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY) Scheme on April 26, 2018. The last date for bid submission is May 23, 2018. The packages are as follows-

  • Supply, installation and commissioning of 2.606 MW solar PV power generation projects with battery back-up with five years of comprehensive maintenance in Coochbehar district at an estimated cost of Rs 323.14 million.
  • Supply, installation and commissioning of 2.287 MW solar PV power generation projects with battery back-up with five years of comprehensive maintenance in Murshidabad and Malda districts at an estimated cost of Rs 283.21 million.
  • Supply, installation and commissioning of 0.322 MW solar PV power generation projects with battery back-up with five years of comprehensive maintenance in Burdwan and Nadia districts at an estimated cost of Rs 40 million.
  • Supply, installation and commissioning of 0.108 MW solar PV power generation projects with battery back-up with five years of comprehensive maintenance in Bankura and Purulia districts at an estimated cost of Rs 13.82 million.

The period of completion of all the packages is 12 months.

The bids have been invited for Decentralized Distributed Generation (DDG) program under the DDUGJY scheme for rural electrification works through solar PV projects with distribution network and connection to households in West Bengal on build, operate, maintain and transfer (BOMT) basis.
