SECI re-issues RfS for 150 MW Rihand Dam Floating Solar Power Projects

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) re-invited Request for Selection (RfS) bids for Rihand Dam Floating Solar Power Projects with a revised capacity of 150 MW on April 17, 2018. The last date of bid submission is May 31, 2018.  Bids for the same were earlier issued on March 16, 2018 with a capacity of 100 MW.

The solar projects will be developed on the Rihand Dam, also known as Govind Ballabh Pant Sagar Reservoir, located in Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh.

The scope of work includes the design, engineering, procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the floating solar power project. A power purchase agreement (PPA) will be signed by the successful developers with Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL).
