The Grid Corporation of Odisha (GRIDCO) has issued an EPC tender to develop 200 MW of solar PV capacity in the state. GRIDCO has provided the bidders with a pass-through option in case of any change in the statutory laws for solar PV modules. As per the tender guidelines, a single bidder can bid for a minimum of 10 MW and a maximum of 100 MW. In addition, each of the projects can only be developed in blocks of 5 MW on BOO basis. PPAs for 25 years will be signed between the successful bidders and GRIDCO. The successful bidders have to submit documents regarding connectivity of the solar plant with the grid within nine months from the date of issuance of the letter of intent. Moreover, the project would have to be completed within 18 months from the date of award of contract.
