NTPC Limited has retendered two solar power projects with energy storage of 25 MW in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Of this, 8 MW of capacity has been retendered in Chidiyatapu and the remaining 17 MW in Manglutan in south Andaman. The successful bidders will be responsible for identifying and providing additional equipment, components and services necessary to integrate the power plants with the grid-connected battery energy storage systems.
