NHPC commissions a 50 MW solar PV project in Tamil Nadu

NHPC Limited commissioned a 50 MW grid-connected solar PV project in the Theni and Dindigul districts of Tamil Nadu in March 2018. Reportedly, Larsen & Toubro had won the EPC contract to develop the capacity in June 2017. The company is responsible for providing O&M services for a period of 10 years. The project has been developed at a cost of about Rs 2.87 billion under the viability gap funding mechanism.
