The Maharashtra State Power Generation Company has tendered 50 MW of grid-connected solar PV projects to be developed in the northern region of the state. The projects will be developed on a public-private partnership basis and will cater to the agricultural feeder load of various substations in Maharashtra’s northern regions. Moreover, the capacity will not be installed at a single location, but on an aggregated basis. As per the tender guidelines, the successful bidder will have to provide O&M services for a period of 25 years.
