The Central Electronics Limited (CEL) has issued an engineering procurement construction (EPC) tender to develop 12 MW capacity of grid-connected solar power projects in Maharashtra.
A single bidder must bid for the entire capacity. The minimum project capacity allowed at a single location is 500 kW,whereas the maximum project capacity at a single location is 2 MW.The projects will be developed on turnkey basis and the successful bidder will be responsible for operation and maintenance (O&M) of the projects for a period of 10 years. In addition, the successful bidder will be responsible for the demonstration of plant’s and the associated transmission system’s (up to 11 kV) performance.
CEL has mandated that all materials, mechanical structures, electrical works and overall workmanship of the project should be warranted for a period of 10 years from the date of commercial operation.
