THDCIL tenders 100 MW of solar capacity in Uttar Pradesh

Tehri Hydro Development Corporation India Limited (THDCIL) is has tendered EPC contracts to develop up to 100 MW of solar power projects in Uttar Pradesh. The minimum project capacity that can be developed at a single location is 10 MW. In addition, a single district cannot have more than 30 MW of solar projects or three projects of 10 MW each. The developers will be responsible for identifying and acquiring the land and will have to complete the project within 12 months of signing the PPA. The successful bidders will provide O&M services for a period of 25 years. As per tender guidelines, JVs and consortiums are barred from participation.
