Sterling and Wilson to develop Zambia’s first utility-scale solar power project

Sterling & Wilson has won a contract from the French project developer Neoen for the construction of Zambia’s first utility-scale solar plant. The grid-connected solar PV project, being set up under a programme promoted by the International Finance Corporation, will have a capacity of 54.3 MW. Sterling & Wilson has already commissioned 90 MW of solar capacity in Africa, as of February 2018.
