SECI tenders 70 MW of grid-connected solar capacity in Assam

SECI has issued a tender for 70 MW of grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity to be developed at the Amguri Solar Park in Sivasagar, Assam. The capacity has been tendered on behalf of Assam Power Generation Corporation Limited. The project will be developed on a build-own-operate (BOO) basis and the upper tariff ceiling for the tender has been set at Rs 3.43 per kWh. A 25-year PPA will be signed with the successful bidder. As per the tender guidelines, bidders must submit bids for the entire capacity before March 14, 2018.
