SECI has issued a tender for 2 GW of ISTS-connected wind power projects under Tranche IV. A single bidder is eligible to bid for a minimum of 50 MW and a maximum of 300 MW of capacity. The successful bidders will enter into a 25-year PPA with SECI. The scope of work includes the setting up of wind power projects as well as a transmission network till the delivery point. The projects will be developed on a BOO basis and will be commissioned within 18 months from the date of PPA signing. An upper tariff ceiling has been fixed at Rs 2.93 per kWh and the deadline for the submission of bids is March 7, 2018.
