The Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency, a World Bank Group member, will provide up to $102.6 million in funds for the construction, and operations and maintenance of solar power projects totalling 250 MW in Egypt. The energy generated from these projects will be sold at a feed-in tariff of $0.084 per kWh to the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company under a 25-year PPA. The PPA is guaranteed by Egypt’s Ministry of Finance.
