KREDL tenders 1,200 MW solar power capacity at Pavagada

Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL) has issued an EPC tender for 1,200 MW of grid-connected solar power projects to be developed at the Pavagada Solar Park in Karnataka. The projects are proposed to be set up in blocks of 50 MW each and will be spread across 253 acres of land. A single bidder is eligible to bid for a minimum of 50 MW and a maximum of 1,200 MW of capacity. The projects will be developed on a BOO basis and the power generated will be sold to state discoms under a 25-year PPA. The last date for the submission of bids is February 21, 2018.
