KREDL auctions 760 MW of grid-connected solar power capacity

KREDL has auctioned 760 MW of grid-connected solar PV projects to be developed across 38 taluks in the state. A total of 11 winners emerged in the auction. The lowest bid (Rs 2.94 per kWh) was quoted by ACME Solar and the highest (Rs 3.54 per kWh) was quoted by Emmvee and Svarog Global. Of all the bidders, Shapoorji Pallonji won the largest capacity (185 MW) and it quoted tariffs ranging from Rs 2.94 per kWh to Rs 3.03 per kWh. ACME Solar won the bid to develop 106 MW of capacity by quoting tariffs ranging from Rs 2.94 per kWh to Rs 3.15 per kWh. ReNew Power won the bid to develop 99 MW of capacity by quoting tariffs ranging from Rs 3.15 per kWh to Rs 3.28 per kWh. Initially, KREDL had auctioned 860 MW of capacity across 43 taluks. The result of the remaining 100 MW is awaited.
