Genneia SA, an Argentina-based thermal and renewable energy producer, is considering an initial public offering on either the Argentine or international stock market. The company will discuss this proposal with its shareholders before coming to a final decision. Genneia owns a wind power park in the Patagonian province of Chubut. In October 2017, it announced plans to provide Loma Negra Compania Industrial Argentina SA, a cement producer, with renewable energy till 2037. The company also has seven thermal plants in Buenos Aires and Entre Rios provinces.
