Results of the 250 MW Bhadla solar park auction declared

Azure Power and ReNew Power have emerged as winners in the 250 MW Bhadla Solar Park auction. Azure has won the bid to develop 200 MW of capacity by quoting the lowest tariff of Rs 2.48 per kWh. The remaining 50 MW has been awarded to ReNew, which quoted a tariff of Rs 2.49 per kWh. The tendered capacity is part of the larger 750 MW package that is being tendered for the Bhadla Solar Park in Rajasthan by SECI. A total of eight companies had participated in the reverse bidding process and had collectively submitted quotes for a total of 1,350 MW.
