Oriano Solar, a Mumbai-based EPC firm, has completed the construction of two 20 MW solar power projects for First Solar in Gadag and Belagavi districts of Karnataka. Oriano has used thin-film CdTe modules manufactured by First Solar for both its projects. The projects have a 25-year PPA with the state discoms. The plants are expected to generate 82.83 MWh of combined energy each year with plant performance ratios of approximately 81 per cent.
