The International Solar Alliance (ISA) has invited proposals from governmental organisations of member countries to develop pilot rooftop solar projects in their respective countries. The projects will be set up at the offices of all heads of states, heads of the respective union governments, heads of legislature and chiefs of judiciary. The maximum allowable capacity at a single location is 1 MW and the solar plants will be developed under the renewable energy service company model. With this, the ISA plans to demonstrate the benefits of rooftop solar projects and help its member countries prepare a roadmap for the segment’s growth.
