BSES Rajdhani Power Limited has launched the “Solar City” initiative to increase solar rooftop installations in Delhi. The initiative has been launched in collaboration with the United States Agency for International Development PACE-D and the Indo-German Collaboration. In addition, 30 per cent capital subsidy will be provided by the MNRE to set up the solar plants. Besides, generation-based incentive of Rs 2 per unit will also be provided to a limited number of projects by the Delhi government.
